She has served organizations including the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention, March of Dimes, and Creative Living with responsibility for fundraising, marketing, and donor relations. Sarah lives in Columbus, Ohio, with her husband, Jacob, and their three children. Jacob's father and grandfather also died of ALS and the impact this disease has had on their family serves as even more inspiration for Sarah to advance the mission of Live Like Lou.
Sarah is an active volunteer for organizations including Special Olympics Ohio and Food Rescue US, and enjoys spending time outside and cheering on the Cleveland Guardians, as a lifelong fan.
