Steve Good

Iron Phi Foundation Executive Director

Steve Good is the executive director of the Iron Phi Foundation for Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and has been on the Fraternity’s staff for two decades.

He has served Phi Delta Theta in numerous roles but gravitated towards the Fraternity’s connection to Lou Gehrig and the ALS cause. Steve developed the Iron Phi program in 2010, which he leads today, and finds the ultimate joy in introducing college students to philanthropy. Steve also oversees Phi Delta Theta’s Lou Gehrig Memorial Award, given annually to a Major League Baseball player who exemplifies the spirit and character of Lou Gehrig; and the Lou Gehrig College Baseball Community Impact Team.

Steve spent his undergraduate days at Iowa State University, completed his MBA at Xavier University, graduated from Leadership Iowa, and holds a digital marketing certificate from the University of Illinois. He takes great pride in being a family man, is an avid traveler and Iowa State athletics supporter, and enjoys travel photography (stevegoodphoto.com) and blogging (agoodrun.com).

Steve and his wife Tillie live in Ames, Iowa, with their son Calvin, daughter Tess, and rescue dog.
