Applications for Live Like Lou home improvement grants are now open!

Do you have a home renovation or project that is necessary because of an ALS diagnosis? Live Like Lou wants to help.

Named in honor of baseball Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig, the Live Like Lou Foundation works to leave ALS better than we found it. One of the ways we live out our vision is by offering one-time grants of $500-2,500 each to ALS families for home improvement projects. These grants are intended for materials and equipment to complete projects that become necessary following an ALS diagnosis. Read about some of our 2022 and 2023 home improvement grant recipients and the household projects they were able to complete.
