The Live Like Lou Foundation and friends from Phi Delta Theta Fraternity celebrated Lou Gehrig Day with the Pittsburgh Pirates last night at PNC Park. Cullen Cochlan, a Phi Delt from the University of Pittsburgh, threw out the first pitch in honor of his father, Steve Cochlan, who is living with ALS. Steve is also a Phi Delt from Bowling Green State University.

Cullen raised more than $11,000 in his quest to become an Iron Phi this year and was the top Iron Phi fundraiser in this region this year. Check out the video of him throwing a strike! Well done, Cullen!

Wil Parton was honored with the Live Like Lou Foundation's Iron Horse Scholarship valued at $2,130 per semester for four years, totaling $17,040. The Pittsburgh Pirates awarded Wil with an additional $1,000 in honor of his mom, Sarah, living with ALS.

We are so grateful to the many Live Like Lou and Phi Delta Theta friends, fans, and supporters who were able to enjoy the Pirates' Lou Gehrig Day celebration!
