Monday, September 8, 2025, Live Like Lou had the privilege of celebrating Dallas native Diana Buckroyd, a longtime Rangers fan. Before her ALS diagnosis in 2023, Diana studied at the University of Oklahoma, where she then became an accomplished apparel industry professional. Diana continues to inspire those around her with her strength, resilience, and unwavering love for her family. She and her husband Trent who recently celebrated 27 years of marriage were joined by their three children, Keaton, Parker, and Davis, and dozens of friends and family members who have supported them since Diana’s diagnosis.

Diana was presented with a custom Rangers-themed wheelchair to honor her courage and love for the game. In addition, Rangers shortstop Marcus Semien was honored as a Lou Gehrig Memorial Award nominee, celebrating his leadership, character, and commitment to the community.

The Buckroyd family and other guests were treated to a memorable night of baseball and connection, joined by Live Like Lou ALS families, volunteers, and Lou Gehrig’s fraternity brothers. Special thanks to the Cole Family for their Dugout Sponsorship, which made the outing even more special.

LLL staff, with our partners from Peak Events, who we’ll team up with for the Live Like Lou College Baseball Classics, joined by former Houston news anchor, Adam Winkler.

Live Like Lou extends heartfelt gratitude to the Permobil Foundation and Phi Delta Theta Fraternity for their continued partnership in raising ALS awareness and creating meaningful experiences for families affected by this disease.

It was a night of celebration, inspiration, and community, reminding us of the impact of resilience and support in the face of ALS
