When Peter was diagnosed with ALS in 2024, his wife and caregiver, Michele, supported him throughout the journey. As ALS progressed, even simple tasks such as keeping up with the yard became difficult.
Thanks to the kindness of volunteers through Live Like Lou’s Connect & Serve program, Peter and Michele haven’t faced these challenges alone. The gentlemen of San Diego State Phi Delta Theta spent the day at Michele and Peter's home, pulling weeds, trimming bushes, and clearing leaves.
