The Live Like Lou Foundation is pleased to announce that applications are open for its Career Development Award. The Live Like Lou Career Development Award is intended to encourage and expand the number of investigators conducting innovative neurodegenerative disease research aimed at finding treatments or cures for ALS. Funding and Eligibility
- Up to $100,000 per year for up to two years beginning December 2025.
- Tenure-track junior investigators (assistant professor level or equivalent) who are within 5 years of starting their own independent group/lab and have not yet received their first R01-level grant.
- Indirect costs to the institution are not allowed.
- This award must be administered through the academic or research institution, not directly to the researcher.
- Non-US citizens and institutions are eligible for funding.
