Why Kaley Plays for Live Like Lou 💙
Kaley’s connection to the ALS community began in December 2022 when her father, Jim, was diagnosed with ALS. During his illness, Kaley became one of his primary caregivers alongside her mother. Jim lived with ALS for nearly three years before passing away in the fall of 2025.

Through this experience, Kaley gained a deep understanding of the challenges families face while navigating an ALS diagnosis. Witnessing both the heartbreak and the remarkable strength within the ALS community inspired her to continue supporting others affected by the disease. Kaley is passionate about serving and advocating for individuals and families impacted by ALS. She hopes to use her experience and compassion to help others feel supported, connected, and cared for throughout an incredibly difficult journey.
