What Mark Brings to the Team ⚾️
Mark brings a fundraiser's instincts and a donor's heart. As development director, he builds the relationships and programs that turn one-time supporters into lifelong advocates for the ALS community. Whether he's developing new giving programs, building corporate partnerships, or picking up the phone to thank a monthly donor, his job is making sure Live Like Lou has the resources to keep swinging.
Why Mark Plays for Live Like Lou 💙
Mark's mother-in-law Susie was taken from his family by ALS. Mark and his wife founded Susie's All-In Against ALS in her memory, and Mark has been in the fight ever since. Joining Live Like Lou as Development Director was the next step in that same mission: to make sure the 30,000 Americans living with ALS right now have more options, more support, and more time than Susie did.
Off the Field 🏟️
Outside of work, he stays active in his community as a performing musician. He plays guitar and sings in The Flannel Pajamas, a 90s cover band based in the Dallas area, and also performs solo acoustic shows. He co-manages Susie's All-In Against ALS alongside his role at Live Like Lou. Mark lives in Richardson, Texas with his wife and their two doodles, Cowboy and Calah.
