Nat J. Love

Nat J. Love has supported the ALS community and the Live Like Lou Foundation for more than a decade. Since 2014, Nat has been an Iron Phi and has raised more than $17,000 through the program to help Live Like Lou support ALS families, fund research, and raise awareness of Lou Gehrig’s disease.

A graduate of the University of Michigan, Nat earned his Bachelor of Science in pharmacy and spent nearly four decades at Meijer, ultimately serving as vice president of drug store operations. Under his leadership, Meijer launched groundbreaking initiatives, including the first free antibiotics program, which latr expanded to include prenatal vitamins and other essential medications. His efforts helped improve access to care for countless families and showcased his talent for turning compassion into impact.

After retiring from Meijer in 2016, Nat founded NJL Consulting Services, advising clients across the consumer goods and healthcare industries. Throughout his career, Nat has been recognized for his industry innovation, including being named one of the five people who made a difference in the drug store industry by MMR Magazine.

Outside of work and his commitment to Live Like Lou, Nat is an avid skier, camper, and fly fisherman. He is also deeply involved in the Boy Scouts of America, serving in several leadership roles with the Gerald R. Ford division of the Michigan Crossroads Council.

Nat splits his time between Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and enjoys traveling the world with his wife of over thirty years, Marcia. Together, they are the proud parents of three sons and one daughter.
