Why She Plays for Live Like Lou 💙

Her connection to the mission is deeply personal. ALS touched her life through the loss of her best friend’s father, and she was later invited to volunteer by a fellow board member. From the moment she became involved, she was hooked. Neuromuscular disease has also impacted her family through the loss of her brother-in-law to muscular dystrophy. Being a small part of leaving ALS better than we found it is, in her words, a gift.

Off the Field 🏟️

Nichole enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, and traveling the world. They love sharing experiences and time with their families in Indianapolis, St. Louis, and Los Angeles. Their rescue dog, Maple Marie, has traveled the country alongside them. A former college swimmer turned coach in her first career, Nichole believes movement is medicine — especially when it happens outdoors in the fresh air. Fitness and maintaining a workout routine remain an important part of her life.
